Pictures taken on March 29 show the spectacular Hani terraced fields in south Yunnan’s Yuanyang County, which looks like a painting-like landscape carved out of the earth.

The Yunnan rice fields recently established friendly relations with the Languero and Monferrato vineyards in Italy, witnessed by visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte in Rome. Also existing partly in the southern Yunnan counties of Honghe, Jinping and Luchun, the Hani terraced rice fields cover one million mu (around 66,667 hectares).
