Aerial photos taken recently show the magnificent scenery of Laojun Mountain in northwest of Yunnan’s Lijiang City. The mountain covers an area of 1,324 square kilometers. As part of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected areas, it is famous for the characteristic Danxia landform, wonderful peaks, bizarre stones, beautiful meadows and colorful flowers. It is now an attractive tour destination for visitors from home and abroad.
