Dubbed as a living museum, the Kunming Old Street attracted thousands of tourists during the just past seven-day Spring Festival holiday.

The Old Street covers the largest area in downtown Kunming where the old buildings are well-preserved. In recent years, these old buildings were renovated and revitalized.

Firstly built in 1119, the Old Street is now 900 years old. It used to be a commercial center of Kunming.

It was also the place where many Chinese celebrities lived, like the legendary businessman Wang Chi and the famous musician Nie Er who composed the “"March of the Volunteers", the national anthem of the People's Republic of China.
