River-side village presents its best in central Yunnan

Recent online pictures show the picturesque river-side village of Hewan in central Yunnan’s Yiliang County, which is now surrounded by multi-colored rice fields on three sides. 

Hewan makes a modal village for rural tourism, and the U-shaped rice fields form beautiful patterns featuring local Yi culture and patriotism in general. The patterns presented by the rice fields are subjected to yearly change and design.
