Yunnan to push for high-quality growth in border zones

Yunnan will push forward high-quality development in its border areas by good policies, sound systems, institutional innovation and project supports, said the provincial reform and development commission.

Approved by the Chinese State Council, the province established the Ruili national experimental zone for opening-up and development near the China-Myanmar border, as well as the Mohan development experimental zone near the China-Laos border.

Yunnan will also set up a database for 200 key projects in the said two experimental zones, so as to promote cooperation with the neighboring countries in manufacturing, education, medical services and cross-border e-commerce.
