Yunnan finds 11 newly confirmed Covid-19 cases

Yunnan province identified 11 newly confirmed Covid-19 cases and 1 new asymptomatic case, said local health authority on April 7.

The confirmed and asymptomatic cases were found in the border city of Ruili during the second round of citywide nucleic acid testing campaign, the Yunnan provincial health commission said.

As of 24:00 Wednesday, the province has counted 79 confirmed Covid-19 cases (76 locally-transmitted and 3 imported) and 44 asymptomatic cases (25 locally-transmitted and 19 imported).

All the Covid patients are going through isolated treatment and medical observation at designated hospitals.
