Resettled villagers work near their new home

Xinhua pictures taken on April 26-27 show the resettled villagers in northeast Yunnan’s Huize County work in factories and vegetable plantations near their new home, a collective resettlement site.

In its poverty-elimination campaign over the past five yaers, Huize has relocated 100,000 plus villagers in tough terrains and cultivated industries near resettlement sites, so that the villagers can be fully employed for a stable income.
