Yunnan has presence at consumer expo in Hainan
Yunnan province held a promotional event at the 1st China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), which kicked off on April 6 in the southern Chinese province of Hainan.
At the event, Yunnan governor Wang Yubo said over the years the province has focused on producing green food and clean energy and upgrading its tourist services. Yunnan also make strides in serving as an example for ethnic unity, a pacesetter in eco-conservation, and a pivot of opening-up to south and southeast Asia.
Wang added that Yunnan will further improve its business environment for domestic and international businesses by being market oriented and continuing the rule-based operation. The governor also invited the international audience to the fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties, the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), which will be held in Kunming in the coming October.
Before the event, the governor visited the Yunnan exhibition area, where he talked with attending business delegates and hoped them to showcase the provincial ethnic cultures and diverse beauties to the world.
