Yunnan resumes cross-provincial group tours

Travel services and online tourist companies in Yunnan resumed air ticket and hotel business activities for cross-provincial tourist groups on December 15, according to provincial tourism authority.

“Yunnan tourist groups to the areas with medium and high risk for Covid outbreaks remains suspended, and reception of tourist groups from these areas is still not allowed,” read the notice issued by Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

The circular also noted that in the partly resuming tourist services, travel operators, tourist attractions and public areas in Yunnan shall strictly implement anti-epidemic measures and do a good job in Covid prevention and control.
