Mt. Jiaozi enters peak tourist season

The Jiaozi Snow-capped Mountain welcomed crowds of tourists these days for its winter scenery of rimed trees and iced waterfalls. The daily number of tourists has exceeded 6,000.

The stunning winter scenery is a calling card of Mt. Jiaozi and tourists are thrilled even though they are exhausted after hours of climbing.Although there is not much snow in Mt. Jiaozi at present, it is still good news for the locals who rarely see snow in a year. And the best timing to visit Mt. Jiaozi is from New Year's Day to Chinese Spring Festival.

With a highest point of 4,344 meters, the Jiaozi (sedan chair) mountain is located in the northern part of Kunming, Yunnan province. And azalea in full blossom will be seen in spring here.
