High speed trains ready for travel rush in Kunming

China's annual travel rush for the Spring Festival, also known as Chunyun, began yesterday on January 28. It has been considered one of the largest seasonal human migrations on this planet. 

This year, Chunyun will last a period of 40 days until March 8.

As a major means of transportation in today's China, high speed trains are responsible for carrying tens of millions of passengers back home to celebrate this most important festival for Chinese people in a year.
