Harvest Festival in Yunnan

Autumn is the harvest season and also the happiest time for every farmer in a year. "Harvest festival" is one of the traditional festivals of ethnic people in Yunnan on Sept 23 this year. Every farmer family are busy with food picking and happiness is written on their faces.

Starting in 2018, the Chinese farmers' harvest festival coincides with the autumnal equinox each year, which is one of the 24 solar terms of the Chinese lunar calendar and usually falls between Sept. 22 and 24 during the country's agricultural harvest season.
