COP15: Biodiversity parterres debut in Kunming

Parterres with the biodiversity theme have shown up in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province on Sept. 27, presenting the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

Arrays of fresh cut flowers and plants, the parterres display provincial biodiversity, forming the patterns of Asian elephants, pandas, ethnic girls and more. Yunnan is titles as the kingdom of fauna and flora, as well as the world’s garden.

The spring city Kunming is gearing up for part one of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15), which will last from Oct 11 to 15.
