Late autumn sights at Potatso national park

When late autumn comes, the scenery at the Potatso (pudacuo) national park is like a wash painting formed by an overturned palette. Alpine forests, lakes, meadows, and forests are turning from green to yellow, and then from yellow to red.

Located in Shangri-la county, northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the park was opened in 2007 and it is China’s first national park that meets the standards of International Union for Conservation of Nature.
