Yunnan’s 5 places entitled as “national oxygen bar”
Five places in Yunnan are among the 56 Chinese localities that have been entitled as the national natural oxygen bars, said a notice released by China Meteorological Administration on December 29.
The chosen Yunnan places included Chuxiong county-level city, Gongshan Dulong and Nu autonomous county, Jinggu Dai and Yi autonomous county, Qiubei county, and Yiliang county.
All the listed “natural oxygen bar" have met the following requirements. First, fine days make up at least 90 days in a year. Next, the number of negative oxygen ions averages at least 1000/cm³. Last, the annual air quality index (AQI) averages over 100.
Chuxiong city
