Changning County in southwest of Yunnan’s Baoshan City is home to ancient tea for millennium, and there are more than 200,000 ancient tea trees and sizeable standard tea plantations.

According to the historical records, the Changning tea dates back to the Zhou Dynasty over 2000 years ago. Whenever chieftains of Changning had an audience with the emperor, they took the special tea as a tribute. Favored by the emperor, the tribute tea gained fame around China afterwards.

In 2015, Zhang Yongsheng and his younger brother spotted the business opportunity in tea making and selling. They signed a contract on running the Qinglong Mountain with locals. There, they built a tea garden and succeeded in tea business.
