COP15: Humans, birds live in harmony in Mile city

When famers were working in a lotus field of Zhuyuan Town, south Yunnan’s Mile City, the other day, a number of open-bill storks (Anastomus oscitans) arrived to look for food a glimpse away, forming a harmonious picture of human and nature.

In 2006, open-bill storks were first found for the record in Daili. In recent years, thanks to the improved eco environment, these birds can be seen in multiple places in Yunnan.
