Dogs join border guardians in Pu’er
Dogs joined part of the pandemic prevention force in Xuelin Township of south Yunnan's Pu 'er City. When the reporter came to a cattle farm on July 28, he found that the pandemic prevention "staff" had a new force -- "a team of 6 dogs ".
These 6 dogs are chosen from regular local dogs in the village. For dog trainers, dogs are their colleagues, rather than pets.
Xuelin Township has a border line of 23.72 kilometers, which adds to the working difficulty of border control. The dogs are on the battlefield together with 20 border control personnel to guard the front line of the country.
With their help, the work of patrol team became much easier. It is reported that since March this year, a total of 87 people were stopped who tried to enter and leave illegally at the Xuelin border.
