Yunnan coffee makes a hit in Shanghai
The Yunnan-featured coffee has been made available in Starbucks in east China’s Shanghai this month. And the flavors of Yunnan coffee are as good as those of their foreign peers.
These coffee beans from Yunnan are not only for Chinese consumers, but also are familiar to international consumers visiting various exhibitions held in the magacity.
“To improve my coffee growing techniques, I have frequent visits to Shanghai for coffee exhibitions and sales,” said Ye Ping, a native of southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city who has grown coffee for 12 years. And the coffee that was unveiled at Starbucks in Shanghai comes from her years of work.
Currently, Ye leads the Pu'er Tianyu Cooperative that involves 200 plus coffee farmers and the annual sales of coffee beans have added up to millions of yuan.
