Trapped eagle saved by police in Mojiang

A giant eagle was reported to be trapped in a mud puddle in a cement plant of Mojiang county, southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er city.
On receiving the call, the forest police on duty rushed to the scene in a cement plant and rescued the eagle. After a two-day care, the eagle recovered somewhat and was released back to nature.
The wild bird was identified as eastern imperial eagle, which is under A-level state protection in China.
