Flame vines blossom in Mojiang

Updated:2021-12-23 17:43:25

Clusters of flame vines are seen blooming these days in Mojiang county, southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er city.

The flower is called “firecracker flower” in Chinese because it looks like a string of firecrackers for festivities.

Hanging on river banks or building walls, the climbing vines look like orange waterfalls.

The decorative flowering vines grow widely in Mojiang, presenting scenes of warmth in the winter.
