The Nujiang River is one of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Flowing in southwest China's Yunnan Province, it joins the Salween River in Myanmar, and empties itself into the Indian Ocean. With dramatic drops through peaks and deep valleys, the river rushes rapidly with high waves, forming a spectacular sight.
