Taipei, Xishuangbanna listed as top destinations

China's localities of Taipei and Xishuangbanna have been listed among the 30 best destinations worldwide by Lonely Planet, the largest travel guide book publisher in the world.

In its new annual ranking of top 10 cities to visit in the world, Taipei in east China’s Taiwan province was ranked second for its social tolerance, natural landscapes and cultural heritages.
 
“Taipei is an ‘urban delicacy’ that fills your stomach and satisfies your mood,” noted the ‘Best Cities’ ranking of the Lonely Planet magazine. 

Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture in southwest China’s Yunnan province came third among the top 10 regions for 2022, for its lush rainforest, soothing Lancang River and impressive rural markets.
