Yi folks of Mile dance in peach blossoms

As the peach trees are blooming fully in the Taohuagu area,  southeast Yunnan’s Mile City, local Yi villagers are having group dances in their bright-colored costumes.

Coupled with the flute, the Suona horn and a three-stringed plucked instrument, the farmers dance merrily along with special ethnic tunes, conveying their best wishes for harvest and happiness in the coming year.
