Verbena blossoms seen in Simao district

Continuous verbena flowers are seen in the Simao district, southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er City. Touched gently by the breeze in early summer, visitor said they enjoyed a good time when walking in the flowering fields in the evening.

Verbena is a genus in the family Verbenaceae. It contains about 250 species of annual and perennial herbaceous or semi-woody flowering plants. The majority of the species are native to the Americas and Asia.
