July 1 Medal recipient: A mother of 177 children

A renowned educator, the president of a home for children in need and recipient of the July 1 Medal, the highest honor given by the Communist Party of China (CPC), Chinese educator Zhang Guimei has dedicated herself to weaving a safety net for the disadvantaged boys and girls.
