Digital art painting "thousands of miles of rivers and mountains" opens in SW China's Chongqing

The digital art exhibition of painting "thousands of miles of rivers and mountains" will open on Aug. 27. in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

The 2,000-square-meter exhibition takes "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" as the creative origin, integrating visual, auditory, tactile and other multi-sensory comprehensive experience.

The exhibition gives the visitors an immersive experience of the magnificent rivers and mountains of the great motherland.

The art piece is a hand scroll painting originally created by Wang Ximeng of China's Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), which was about 1,000 years ago.

The original painting is now a permanent collection in China's Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is honored as one of the ten famous paintings handed down from generation to generation in China.
