Pan’s says Yuanjiang Bridge is so tall!

“Wow! The bridge is so tall. I’m looking forward to getting on the train for the opening day,” said Dr. Pan, a Thai native in Kunming, Yunnan province.

Dr. Pan recently took a train in trial operation on the newly built China-Laos Railway, and she arrived in Yuanjiang Hani, Yi and Dai autonomous county, central Yunnan’s Yuxi city.

Pan added she’d like to shuttle over the Yuanjiang railway bridge and try the services at the Yuanjiang train station in person.

The Yuanjiang bridge features a 154-meter-tall pier, setting a new record in the world, while the Yuanjiang station is the largest on the Yuxi section of the China-Laos line.
