Kunming steps up oversight on imported fruits

Kunming issued a notice on the control of imported fruits on January 12.

Imported fruits will be sampled for nucleic-acid testing and disinfected collectively, starting from January 20, 2022.

The notice specified the certificates required for storing, selling and processing imported fruits.

It also called on the public not to buy or eat imported fruits with unknown origins.
