Aini people keep costume-making craftsmanship alive in Menglian

Updated:2022-04-25 17:17:06

The Hani people living in Menglian county, southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city are a branch of the Aini people, calling themselves Akha.

The Aini people believe that man and nature should live in harmony, so they still make traditional clothes. From planting cotton to spinning threads, weaving, sewing and dying, all steps are finished with hand.
