A virtual water festival in Xishuangbanna

The Water-Sprinkling Festival was recently held virtually via live streaming in south Yunnan's Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture.

A major festival for the Dai ethnic group in China, the water festival is also popular in the neighboring countries like Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and more.

Dai folks are full affection for water, so they sprinkle it to bless each other. The virtual show also featured brisk dance of the Dai people.
