Taking subway by face in Kunming

Starting on March 22, residents in Kunming, Yunnan province can take the subway by showing their faces, without even taking off the mask.

The new facial-recognition service is now available at the subway stations beside Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4 and Line 6.

Passengers can enjoy a 8.8 discount via the APPs of Kunming Metro or China Construction Bank till March 31.
