UNFAO rolls out documentary for Hani terraces

The documentary "Protecting Hani Terraces—they are the doers” was officially released February 28 by the Chinese office under the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

As a UNOSCO heritage site in south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, the rice paddy terraces has been hailed as an agricultural wonder for 1300 years. The documentary tells how local farmers created the farming method, as well as the prospect of multilateral cooperation.
