10,000 people enjoy the Mopan Feast in Xinping

The grand Mopan Feast was held in Xinping County, central Yunnan’s Yuxi City on Mar 17. About 10,000 tourists and local people enjoyed the feast.

The Mopan Feast is a renowned feast in Xinping, which features diverse dishes and a vast number of guests. During this year's feast, more than 1,100 tables were arranged in lines and they presented a quite spectacular scene. 

Every year, Han, Yi and Dai people living in Xinping share their cuisines with tourists from all over the world during the Mopan Feast. Hospitable toasting songs, ethnic singing and dancing performances always impress everyone as well.
