At the First Session of the 13th Yunnan Provincial People's Congress on January 25 morning, Yunnan Governor Ruan Chengfa delivered a government work report. Here are some statistics cited:

In 2017, Yunnan invested a total of 880 billion yuan in building connectivity infrastructures.

Yunnan entered the high-speed rail era with 1,166 km new railway last year. 2079 km of highways were built, the total mileage of Yunnan highway exceeded 5,000 km. All village-level roads were cemented.

Among China’s airports, the Kunming Changshui International Airport ranked sixth in passenger throughput. Three airports of Lugu Lake, Cangyuan, Lancang were put into service.

Installed capacity of power generation in Yunnan exceeded 85.5 million kilowatts in 2017, with 138.2 billion kwh of power transmitted to eastern areas.

Another 759,000 km of cable lines were fixed for better information service. The length of Kunming Metro reached 88.7 kilometers.
