Blooming jacaranda seen in Kunming

Pictures taken by a Yunnan Daily reporter on April 30 show the blooming blue jacaranda on Mid-Jiaochang Road in Kunming, the provincial capital city of Yunnan.

Native to tropical and subtropical regions in central and southern American countries, the flowering plant has been planted widely in Asia.
