HST depot of Kunming marks spectacle

The Kunming Bullet Train Depot, like many of its counterparts across the country, is a home for high speed trains (HST) where they are able to be inspected, tested and maintained systematically after daily operations.

Located in southern Kunming’s Chenggong district, the depot was put into use in 2016. With a total number of 68 rail tracks lining side by side, it has become the largest bullet train base among southwest China.

The ultimate goal of this base is to ensure that every passenger can enjoy a safe and pleasant travel experience.
