Rice terraces in Tengchong stun eyes of tourists

Updated:2019-07-19 11:00:08   Xinhua

Seated in western Yunnan province's Tengchong city, the township of Wuhe drew much attention of tourists recently by its multi-color rice terraces.

Yunnan has long been famed for its mirror-like wetrice terraces. The Hani rice terraces in Honghe were identified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 because of their natural beauty as well as cultural significance.

Perhaps less famous than the ones of Honghe, these terraces, however, are equally appealing to tourists.
