Jacaranda trees with blue blossoms decorates Baoshan city

Pictures taken recently show the jacaranda trees blooming on avenues in southwest Yunnan’s Baoshan city, presenting locals a dreamy scene in early summer. 

The blue jacaranda is a sub-tropical tree native to south-central South America that has been widely planted elsewhere because of its beautiful and long-lasting blue flowers.
