200 plus scenic areas reopen across Yunnan
According to incomplete statistics, more than 200 scenic areas in 13 Yunnan cities and prefectures have orderly resumed services to tourists, said local tourism authority on March 12.
The resumption was carried out under the "Opinions on Yunnan's Stratified Prevention and Control of the Covid-19 Epidemic", with tourist services restricted to those from the low-risk areas.
The Kunming parks of Xihua, Tanhua Temple, and Jiaoye officially reopened on March 9, bringing the public spring sights and good moods.
In Xishuangbanna, 11 scenic areas such as the Dayi Manor, the Mengjinglai Area, and the Wild Elephant Valley have been in business since March 10.
Following stringent preventive measures against the epidemic, Pu'er City resumed service at its 13 A-level tourist attractions, including the Pu'er National Park, and the Tropic of Cancer Park in Mojiang.
Jianchuan County in northwest Yunnan reopened the scenic Shibao mountain and the Shaxi leisure town on March 10.
