Updated:2021-04-14 11:55:45

Construction of a makeshift hospital in west Yunnan’s Ruili city was finished on April 12, and it will soon be put to use, for recovery services in particular.

The border town of Ruili has been plagued by small Covid-19 outbreaks since March 29, when one person was found positive for Covid-19 in Ruili during the routine nucleic acid test.

A total of 99 medics will work in the mobile hospital that is equipped with CT, 200 beds, free net access, a reading area and entertaining facilities.

The new hospital will also share patient data with the Ruili TCM hospital and joining hands with the Kunming-based First People’s Hospital of Yunnan Province in telemedicine.
