Brocade weaving skills of Wa people

The brocade weaving made mainly from the threads of cotton and linen. The cloth is unique of the varied colors. The base color is black and red, with yellow, green, white, blue in between. The patterns have two main kinds: cross stripes and argyle stripes. The woven cloths can be made into clothes, bags, beddings, sheets, accessories and curtains.

Spinning-top playing

The spinning-top playing is a traditional sport with a long history. The activity is favored by many ethnic people. Because of its popularity, top-spinning has been developed and innovated based on the tradition, such as top making, the spinning skills and even top-spinning competitions.
