University dinner table graced by rose dishes

Around two hectares of roses were in full blossom in the Chenggong campus of Yunnan University these days, and 25 rose dishes were thus made for students and teachers therein.

With each share priced at two to four yuan, the tasty rose dishes involved rose jelly, rose cake and rose rice pudding, all traditional dishes in Yunnan province.

The creative modern dishes out of rose were fried rose, rice fried with rose and egg, rose sushi and more.
