First snow decorates Mt. Huangshan

The Huangshan scenic area in east China's Anhui province ushered in its first snow fall on November 22. The area was then decorated like a fairyland in the winter sunshine.

The day coincided with Xiaoxue or Minor Snow, the 20th solar term on the traditional Chinese calendar. It signifies the arrival of piercing cold.
