With spring approaching and temperatures rising, two ancient plum trees — in Yutian village, Gejiu, Yunnan province — began to blossom recently. Both of the two national first-class protected ancient trees have a history of more than 100 years. One is over 500 years old. Their shimmering white flowers and the aroma permeating the air attract lots of residents and tourists to enjoy the landscape of early spring.
