Shangri-La offers dazzling sights in winter

Potatso is notable as the first national park in China to meet the standards of International Union for Conservation of Nature. In winter, a thin layer of ice forms on the lake and mist shrouds rime in the mountains. With a high degree of biodiversity, Potatso is home to a number of rare species like black-necked cranes.
