Shangri-La offers dazzling sights in winter

Balagezong, an isolated and forgotten kingdom, acquires its name from the Bala village and the Gezong mountain. The road hidden in the cliffs is the only way for the Bala villagers to get out of the mountains. In winter, visitors can enjoy the snowy sights of the pagoda-shaped peaks, as cliffs, canyons, lakes and forest.
